In this article, you will learn about the information and functions hidden in the time clocking (Clock-In/Clock-out) tab.

How to find "Clock-in/Clock-out"?

It's very simple! 😀 Just find the clock-in/clock-out in the side menu bar, click on the option with the same name, and you're done; you will be redirected to the page.

A page with all the data from the time clocking will open.

Basic information about Clock-In/Clock-Out

Where do the clock-in/clock-out data come from?

The clock-in/clock-out tab contains a number of important information that are gathered from the clock-ins and clock-outs made by workers on the time clock panel during entry/exit, breaks, or clocking into specific production tasks. Based on this data, the system calculates values such as the total time spent at work, overtime hours worked by a worker on a given day, the shift they were on, productivity, and the duration of breaks.

Columns

In RCP, you will find columns such as:

  • Worker - the name and surname of the worker who is or was at work.

  • Clock-in - the date and time of the worker clocking in before starting work.

  • Clock-out - the date and time of the worker clocking out at the end of work.

  • Shift - the shift assigned to the worker, automatically adjusted according to the predefined time intervals of individual shifts.

  • Clock-in rounded - the adjusted clock-in time after setting the time rounding option.

  • Clock-out rounded - the adjusted clock-out time after setting the time rounding option.

  • Time at work - the total number of hours the worker spent at work that day.

  • Time at work rounded - the number of hours the worker spent at work after rounding the clock-ins/outs.

  • Difference time at work / time at work rounded - the amount of time that was rounded.

  • Base Hours - the basic work time without overtime.

  • Overtime from rounded work hours- the amount of overtime worked by the worker on a given day based on rounded time.

  • Time without pauses - the amount of time the worker spent at work after deducting breaks.

  • Pause - the amount of time the worker spent on breaks.

  • Pause % - the percentage of the total work hours that were spent on breaks.

  • Reasons for pauses - annotations regarding the reasons for breaks such as eating, smoking, cleaning, etc.

  • Work time on manufacturing tasks - the amount of time the worker spent on production tasks.

  • Missing Time - the difference between the total work time, time spent on production tasks, and breaks.

  • Productivity - the productivity of your workers, indicating whether it is adequate to the tasks assigned.

  • Productivity % - the productivity of workers in percentage.

  • Added manually - whether the time clocking entry was manually added or not.

  • Comments - any notes saved about the worker's time clocking entry.

  • Geolocation clock-in - the distance from the location where the workers clocked in to start work.

  • Geolocation clock-out - the distance from the location where the workers clocked out to end work.

  • IP Address - the IP address of the device the worker used to log in.

  • Browser - the browser the worker used to clock in.

  • Date of creation - the date the worker's time clocking entry was created.

  • Created By - if the entry was manually added, who created it.

  • Updated at - if the RCP entry was modified, when it was last updated.

  • Updated By - who made the changes to the entry.

  • Actions - an icon that allows you to edit the RCP entry, review work history, breaks, and HR data. More details here.

Customization option

In the clock-in/clock-out tab, there is also a customization option where you can make changes to the table columns and the number of items on the page. Other hidden functions include rounding, overtime, and shifts, accessible by clicking on the settings option. 😃

There is also an option to hide column views. It's very simple, just click the and done! 😀

And now the shift column with the crossed-out eye will no longer be visible!

Views Available in Clock-In/Clock-Out

Additionally, from the clock-in/clock-out  view, you can quickly move to the breaks, days off, or work analysis pages.

When you click on work analysis, two options appear: work card and monthly summary.

Here is the work card 😀

And here is the monthly summary 🙂

From each of these views, you can move freely to others, in a similar manner to this one.
