In this article, you will learn how to plan one or several orders, both for a product with technology and without.

You can perform order planning in several places:

  • In the top right corner after entering the order details.

  • In the drop-down "actions" menu.

  • Above the order list after selecting the desired orders.

  • When adding a new task from the main production tasks list.

How does it work?

Planning a single order without technology:

Clicking will display the order planning window.

From here, you can also view the order by clicking on the Prodio ID, next to which the current information on the number of products made is displayed.

In the top right, you'll find the order details:

  • Who created the order and when.

  • Which product it concerns.

  • The expected completion date.

  • The client's name.

  • The order status.

Below, there are several buttons with available options:

  • Add machine/operation: adds an item to the order planning table.

  • Update technology: replaces the current technology or adds it if missing.

  • Reset: removes added items and replaces them with the product's technology.

  • Save tasks: saves the planned operations, changes the order status to , and displays tasks for production workers on the indicated machines/operations.

When planning an order, you must fill in the "machine/operation" field and enter the quantity to be produced.

The remaining fields are optional but can be useful.

At the end of the line, you'll find the β€œActions” column, where you can duplicate the line or remove it.

Using the handle icon at the beginning of the list, you can set the order of tasks.

Once all information is entered and tasks saved, the order status will automatically change to .

Planning a single order with technology:

This process is the same as planning without technology, the only difference being the data pulled from the technology.

Planning multiple orders simultaneously:

You can plan several tasks at once in two ways:

  • By selecting them from the tasks list and then pressing

  • By adding them to the list when adding manufacturing tasks.

After selecting the orders and clicking , the planning window will appear, similar to when planning a single order. The main difference now is that you can switch between the selected orders at the bottom of the window.

Once one order is planned, press , and you can immediately plan the next order. You don't need to go back to the list to plan another order!

What does it give you:

Thanks to the updated planning, you'll be able to manage a multitude of orders and even more tasks to plan. You can continuously update product technology and turn everything around by 180 degrees. So many options in one place!
