How to create a production technology template? 🤷‍♂️

How to set up the production technology when I do not know yet which machine I will be carrying out this order on?

It’s pretty simple!

When you have several machines that can do exactly the same and you do not know which machine will be used in production, it is best to plan it in the following way in product technology:

1) Let's just assume that our product goes through the first operation, which is Cutting, and then it can be performed simultaneously on machine A and B. Then, at the stage of creating technology into the product, we throw both these machines:

2) Then we create an order for this product and at the planning stage we choose the machine through which this product will most likely pass, by deleting the unnecessary one:

In this way, we maintain full flexibility and only at the planning stage we decide what machine our product will be gone through :)
