How does hiding manufacturing tasks work?
In this article, you will learn how to hide manufacturing tasks from the schedule and how to restore them back.
You can use this option, if you donβt want to have this operation more under this machine, your job is already done, there is a breakdown on the machine or there is a lack of materials. There are a lot of reasons why you would like to hide tasks.
How does hiding manufacturing tasks work?
Each task appears on the production schedule after order is planned. If you want to hide some manufacturing tasks on the production schedule, you can easily do it from the production schedule or the tasks card level.
After clicking on this action, this task will disappear from the production schedule, it will appear only when you allow it.
On the manager panel, click on the production order and then select the Hide option in the upper part on the right.
Now how do you get these tasks back on the production schedule?
- Go to Manufacturing tasks on the left, a list of all production tasks will appear
- Make sure that the option above the table is enabled:
- Then filter the production orders in the Active column - by selecting "No" or by entering the order number (if you remember it).
If you find a task on the list that you want to reappear on the production plan, click on the gear with activities and then select the Active / Inactive option.
If you want to restore several tasks to the production schedule at the same time: use the checkbox to select the tasks that you want to restore to the production schedule, then select the selected button above the table and then Activate
And it's ready! Tasks returned to the production schedule!
