Generating inventory labels.

How does it work?

So, as soon as you print a barcode, it is immediately assigned to a specific product or raw material. Barcodes are used in various places in your warehouse, making management super efficient. They make it easy for you to find products/raw materials, have better control over receipts, issues, and inventory transfers, and also facilitate planning raw material orders from suppliers.

Alright, but where do you get these barcodes? It's easy. You can generate labels with barcodes from two places:

1. By clicking the button in the "actions" field.

2. Click the button when you are in a specific raw material/product.

When you click, you will see a preview of how the labels for printing look.

Now it's up to you! You can set how much raw material/product should be assigned to a label and how many labels you want.

Additionally, you can decide on the following:

• Whether the label should occupy the entire page,

• Whether you want to see the printing date on the label,

• Whether you want to see comments about the raw material/product,

• Whether the quantity of raw material/product should be included in the barcode.

Fun fact - if a product/raw material is assigned an EAN code, that code will be visible below the barcode instead of the program's number.

#TIP - You can change the EAN code for a raw material during its editing, as described in this ARTICLE.

As for editing the EAN code in a product, you can do it by going to the "Products" tab and editing the respective product.

Once you have everything set, click the printer icon to print the labels. Your default printing view will appear, and you can decide whether to save the labels as a PDF or print them on paper.
