Closing, removing, and canceling order

Regularly closing/canceling tasks will help you maintain order and clarity in the task list.

You can find each of these options in 3 places:

  • In the upper right corner of the "Progress" tab.

  • In the drop-down "Actions" menu.

  • Above the order list after selecting the desired ones.

How does it work?

You can only remove tasks that haven't been started yet - starting a task generates data recorded in the work history. You can read about how to delete a task HERE.

You might choose to cancel a task, for example, if a client cancels an order but work has already started on it.

Closing a task allows you to hide it in the task list (as opposed to "completed").

For both canceling and closing a task, you will see the same message with the need to choose one of the available options:

  • Close/cancel the order along with tasks - the order will have the "Closed"/"Canceled" status, and tasks planned for this order will end with the "Ready" status and a quantity of completed units equal to 0.
  • Close/cancel the order alone - the order will have a changed status, and the production tasks will remain in production.
  • Close this window and do nothing - canceling the selected action.
